Rom has over 15 years’ experience in the commercial aviation industry and is currently Vice President Marketing for Rolls-Royce, based in Derby. He oversees the team responsible for all product marketing and sales campaign support activities for Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace. Rom is also leading the interactions between the ISTAT Appraisers community and Rolls-Royce.
Rom is a regular attendee and speaker at the major aviation events
Since joining Rolls-Royce in 2004, he has held several positions including technical support, engine maintenance, service delivery, business planning and contract management.
A native of France, Rom holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers, Paris (Ecole d’Ingenieurs), and a MSc in thermodynamics from Cranfield University, UK. Rom also completed a part time MSc in Service Design and Management at Warwick University, UK in 2016. Rom is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
