CTO and Head of Technical, SMBC Aero Engine Lease
Graeme has been with SMBC Aero Engine Lease since October 2013 and is now based in
Amsterdam where the company, in conjunction with joint venture partner MTU, has
established a long-term engine leasing portfolio from a green field position.
Prime responsibilities include leading contract negotiations, valuations of all engine
purchase and trading bids, strategic portfolio investment planning, asset management
control,
Prior to Sumisho, Mr Crickett has worked in senior technical positions with Macquarie,
IBA, Willis Lease, GECAS, Air New Zealand and the Royal New Zealand Air Force over
a period of 44 years in the industry.
Graeme currently holds an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence and a graduate
Diploma in Engineering Management with the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
With his extensive and wide range experience, Graeme has provided detailed support of
numerous ISTAT appraisers and the continuous professional development program in
the pursuit of accurate, reliable and consistent information to the industry.
