As Head of Engineering Services, Hawkins' leads all continuous airworthiness, maintenance cost management as well as Asset management activities across the entire fleet of Aircraft and Engines for Kenya Airways Plc "KQ".
Hawkins joined KQ in 2010 as a Propulsion Engineer primarily responsible for Engine reliability and shop visit management. Before his current role, he has held responsibility for fleet acquisition and disposal and led the team responsible for Powerplant engineering, OEM and vendor negotiations, engine cost analysis and Asset Management.
Hawkins holds an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering with specialization in Maintenance of Aircraft Powerplants.
