Profile

Mike joined IBA in 2011 and is responsible for the Valuations team. Mike has extensive knowledge of the values and dynamics of the commercial aircraft market, and has a background in aircraft maintenance & mechanical engineering. Recently Mike has delivered a number of commercial and technical due diligence assignments, appraisals in support of numerous ABS (Asset Backed Securitisation) transactions and advised new clients entering the aircraft leasing market. Furthermore, Mike conducts large portfolio appraisals on behalf of major lessors. He also speaks at events and writes on various topics relevant to the industry.

Prior to IBA, Mike worked in an engineering role for CNC Machine Tools under contract to Rolls-Royce. He holds a degree in Aircraft Engineering and is a Senior ISTAT Certified Appraiser
