Dan joined Willis Lease in 2011 as Managing Director of Willis Mitsui & Co Engine Support, a position he still holds in addition to his roles for Willis Lease as Chief Commercial Officer whilst managing Willis’s Irish office in Dublin.
Willis Mitsui was founded in 2011 as a joint venture engine leasing company between Willis Lease and Mitsui & Co. based in Dublin. It has grown quickly to a portfolio of $300m with a wide range of engines including LEAP, GEnx, V2500, CF34, CFM56-5B, and CFM56-7B.
Willis Lease was founded over 30 years ago and has over 300 engines and aircraft supporting customers in over 100 countries. In addition it provides fleet management and technical services through Willis Asset Management, engine storage and Part 145 repair facilities in Coconut Creek, Florida and Bridgend, Wales, engine materials through Willis Aero in Florida and aircraft maintenance and storage in Teesside, England.
Prior to joining Willis, Dan worked for Rolls-Royce and Partners Finance from 2003 firstly as Marketing Executive for EMEA before being promoted to Marketing Director in 2005 covering North and South America. He began his aviation finance career at Finova Capital in 1997 as New Business Analyst.
Dan holds a degree in Politics from London School of Economics.
