Alistair is an Oliver Wyman CAVOK Director based in London and commands over 20 plus years of experience as an aviation professional. He oversees Oliver Wyman CAVOK, Fleet Management and Aircraft Transactions. He is an expert in Aircraft and Engines Leasing business, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Airlines & MROs Management, Operations and Restructuring.
Alistair’s interest in aviation started very soon because his Family has an Aviation background. From there, he went on to earn his PhD in Aerospace Engineering. In the early years of his career, he began as an engine expert and then amassed his experience working for the most prestigious Leasing companies covering senior positions. He was responsible for managing, transferring, repossessing and overseeing Aircraft and Engines all over the world. Alistair also spent time in Dublin, Amsterdam and Hong Kong where he supported deal sourcing, strategic acquisition, portfolio evaluation, exit strategies analysis (including passenger to freighter conversions) and technical due-diligence. Most recently he covered executive positions for prominent MROs. Alistair has also extensive experience in the Airline business with deep metal knowledge, aircraft and engines transaction, complex negotiations & profound restructuring and customer relationships all over the world.
