Gary joined SMBC Aero Engine Lease (SAEL) in Amsterdam in 2019 and manages various roles across the Technical department and deal team. Gary is responsible from engine valuations for acquisition, maintenance reserve modelling and fly forwards for lease transactions, technical negotiation of lease documentation, and supporting the Trading department in asset sales to trading partners and the JOL/JOLCO market. Prior to joining SAEL, Gary worked at IBA handling engine appraisals, aviation market studies and advisory reports on engine selection, maintenance cost, MRO and asset disposal.

Gary holds a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University.
